Frank came to this country in 1959 to pursue a better life for his growing family. Sometime after his arrival, Frank began working as a watch repair man, a skill he learned in the old country, in a local jewelry store. In 1973, he then opened his own business in Ceres, California, Correia Jewelers. It was in this shop, that Frank not only provided tremendous products and services but also had many dedicated customers who turned into lifelong friends. Frank's true passion in life though, was music. He loved to play his mandolin and is remembered by many for his talent. He established the first Portuguese Choir at Sacred Heart Church with Monsignor Alvarez and started his own band, Ilha Azul in 1974. Frank would never be found with idle hands. He could constantly be found tinkering on a new project, caring for his many animals, or in his later days riding his stationary bike. Frank took his final breath and entered into the kingdom of heaven on November 29th, 2016. He will be missed but forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
